| Description: | Join MVOC members and other kayaking enthusiasts at Whitwater Warehouse for an evening paddle down the Mad River. You won't even feel like you are near a big city until the very end. Most of the trip is along lovely natural wooded river banks. You might see great blue herons, kingfishers, deer, and turtles. Enjoy the easy ride with a few small rapids to get your adrenalin going. Whitewater Warehouse waiver required. Shuttles leave at approximately 5:30 and 6:15 p.m. Come about a half hour to 45 minutes early to sign up and gear up if you plan to rent your equipment $15 for all gear, kayak and shuttle. $5 for shuttle if you bring your own kayak $1 for shuttle if you bought your kayak at Whitewater Warehouse.
